Orthopedic surgical procedures involve minor to very serious surgeries. Most common orthopedic surgeries involve fracture repair and stifle problems. Orthopedic surgeries are commonly done for joint fractures, fix dislocated kneecaps, ligament ruptures, osteoarthritis, etc. Some processes like bone plating, external fixations, and interlocking nails and pinning are used for fracture repairs. We also repair ligaments and fix hip or elbow abnormalities. In the case of bone tumors, we use biopsy and sometimes amputation to save your pet.

Soft tissue procedures involve every other surgery that does not involve bones and teeth. It generally involves the removal of tumors, mass, and cysts. Other than oncological surgeries, we also perform lung and heart surgeries which are also soft tissue surgeries. We also do gastrointestinal biopsies, bleeding control, liver and gall bladder surgeries which are done in the abdominal area. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that involves 2-3 small incisions that are of less than 1 cm.
